RWSU 70
4 MHz radiofrequency electrosurgery, simply controlled
Direct Power Adjustment
Increase or decrease output with a turn of the dedicated power knob. Coloured backlighting provides a clear visual reference on the control panel.
Footswitch Activation
Activate output using the footswitch, keeping your hands available for electrode positioning and the procedure.
Compact Trolley Setup
Use RWSU 70 on a compatible wheeled trolley for convenient movement between clinical workspaces. Its compact design also suits worktop placement.
Rotary Mode Selector
Select Soft Cut, Strong Cut or Soft Coag with a rotary control. Yellow or blue light indicators identify the operating mode.
Front Accessory Connections
Dedicated front-panel sockets connect the active and neutral electrodes. Rear connections for the footswitch and power supply help keep cables organized.
Precision made straightforward
RWSU 70 combines 4 MHz radiofrequency technology with straightforward controls for soft tissue cutting and coagulation. Three monopolar operating modes let you select the tissue effect required for your procedure.
Choose Soft Cut, Strong Cut or Soft Coag using the rotary mode selector, then adjust output with the dedicated power control. Colour-coded indicators make the selected mode easy to identify.
Footswitch activation lets you control energy delivery while keeping your hands focused on the electrode and the treatment site. A dedicated neutral electrode safety circuit provides audible and visual alerts.
With a specified output of 70 W RMS at 4 MHz, a compact desktop design and a choice of reusable monopolar electrodes, RWSU 70 is designed to fit the workflow of specialist practices.
4 MHz technology for cutting and coagulation
RWSU 70 applies a 4 MHz radiofrequency electrical field to produce cutting or coagulation effects at the active electrode. At this frequency, the electrical response of tissue supports energy delivery through its cellular structures.
Three monopolar modes provide distinct tissue effects: Soft Cut for clean cutting, Strong Cut for cutting with a stronger coagulation effect, and Soft Coag for soft contact coagulation. A range of electrode shapes and lengths supports use across the clinical specialities listed alongside.
Clinical applications
- Dermatology (dermato-surgery)
- Gynecology
- Plastic and aesthetic surgery
- Oral surgery
- Maxillofacial surgery
- ENT
- Outpatient surgery
- Other applications where fine tissue cutting and coagulation are necessary
Simple controls. Clear feedback.
Select the operating mode, turn the power control and activate output with the footswitch. RWSU 70 puts these essential adjustments on the front panel, with color-coded mode indication and a backlit power knob.
A dedicated neutral electrode safety circuit provides audible and visual alarms and interrupts output until the circuit is correctly restored. Front electrode connections and rear power and footswitch connections help organize the workspace, whether the unit is placed on a worktop or a compatible trolley.
Three modes. The effect you need.
Choose the monopolar tissue effect for your procedure, from clean cutting to cutting with coagulation or soft contact coagulation.
Soft Cut
For clean tissue cutting when a cutting effect is the priority.
Strong Cut
For cutting with a stronger coagulation effect, combining tissue division and coagulation in one operating mode.
Soft Coag
For soft contact coagulation when coagulation is the intended tissue effect.
